- Blankets: each Warrior Dog receives their very own blanket to see them through their foster home and into their adoptive home. Volunteers make fleece blankets, and/or fundraise for fleece.
- Short-term fostering: caring for foster dogs while their fosterer is on a vacation, or if an emergency comes up.
- Advertising/Marketing/Community outreach: promoting the rescue, connecting with groups or organizations that could help with volunteering.
- Boarding Visits/Dog walks: occasionally we may have a dog in rescue who needs to be boarded and would love a friendly visitor. Fosters who may be overscheduled would love help with dog walks.
- Litter help: Having a newborn litter is a lot of work. Volunteers help with feedings, or general support in a foster home.
- Dog Walking: take a pup for a walk to help out a fosterer, or a dog that is in boarding, or our facility in Savage.
- Supply Coordinator Team: helping to maintain all supplies needed for foster homes, medications, and office supplies.
- Facility help: Volunteers take shifts to be at our facility, The Dog House, to accept returned items from fosters and to allow fosters to pick up food and meds as needed for their pups.
