Little Fighters: Celebrating Resiliency
At Warrior Dog Rescue, we believe that every dog deserves a chance at the good dog life—especially those who face unique challenges. That’s why we created Little Fighters, a special program dedicated to highlighting and supporting dogs with disabilities. These incredible pups have overcome obstacles with resilience, love, and an unbreakable spirit.
Dogs with disabilities are often overlooked, but they are just as deserving of love and happiness. By giving them the spotlight, we can change the way the world sees them and help them find their perfect match.
Together, we can give these brave pups the second chance they deserve. Thank you for being part of their journey!

Felicity
Hi! My name is Felicity. I am a playful, spunky and snuggly puppy looking for my furever family.
I currently live in a foster home with human parents and teenagers, as well as a pack of wonderful older dogs who have taught me the ropes! I have done well with the little kids I have met that are respectful of me.
I go potty outside on a schedule and do well freely in the backyard. I also do well going potty on a leash. I am crate trained and sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family isn’t home. I go in happily with a treat and love my cozy bed. I love seeing humans in the mornings and greeting my dog friends when we get up for the day!
Some of my favorite things are:
- Jumping up on the couch with my foster family to cuddle
- Getting treats; I am learning from the other dogs to sit and wait my turn.
- Playing with toys and exploring outside in the yard. I’m great at playing fetch!
- Playing with my pup friends. It’s so fun to run around the yard and play chase with them.
I am one special pup looking for that special family to love! I am excited to meet you!
Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application.

Andy
Hi! My name is Andy!
I love hanging out with my foster dog siblings and cuddling on the couch with them or with my foster mom. I’m an Alabama boy and you’d think I would hate the snow, but not me! I love wrestling and chasing my ball in the snow. I am great at playing with my ball all by myself! I also love lick mats, bones and stuffed toys. Anything that squeaks is totally my jam!
My foster mom says I am super smart and would do well with learning new tricks. I already know sit, touch and watch me. I also know banana means come quickly for good treats. I am always the fastest one back inside!
I can be shy when meeting new people, but seem to do better when another dog friend is there to show me how great people can be, especially when they have treats!
I hope you and your dog will be interested in a handsome guy like me. I look forward to meeting you soon!
